Greetings everyone!

I am a Torchbearer and Keybearer with the Covenant of Hekate, and the Editor in Chief of the Covenant of Hekate’s newsletter, Noumenia News, a job I have been doing since 2020. I also review new and upcoming books/tarot decks/courses etc., in Noumenia News, please feel free to contact me if you have something you would like me to review for the newsletter.

A bit about me, I don’t like defining my practices or even my beliefs because they are always evolving and changing in different ways. I have been involved in Tibetan Buddhism for over 30 years although I no longer would call myself a Buddhist. I am a Hoodoo practitioner and have been mentored in Obeah, though I would not consider myself experienced enough to call myself an Obeahwoman at this time. I am interested in the culture and history of EVERYWHERE, but I especially love Ancient Egypt and have had an interesting recall of a past life there. I also am crazy for Ancient Rome, I don’t know why!

I do genealogy and have some ancestors recorded as far back as the 1400’s. My ethnicity is mainly half Ukrainian/Polish and half English/Scottish/Irish/Swedish/German (Pennsylvania Dutch)/Bohemian. While this does lead me to be particularly interested in the places of my ancestors, it’s my belief that we can be influenced by not only our own ethnicity and place, but also by our previous lives.

I like to do art (especially collages and papier mâché) and I also enjoy writing short stories and poems. I’m working on a book about horses & magic and am also working on a writing project called A Compendium Of The Marvellous, Mysterious & Macabre. I collect old books, fossils and rocks, tarot/oracle/playing cards. and I love old pulp fiction magazines, as well as old sci-fi/monster comics and movies. I love the original Star Trek series and am mildly obsessed with William Shatner. 😆 I'm also obsessed with William Blake and Alan Moore! I have two sons in their 20s and we all share a love of comics and lego! I love pinball and dream of having a Pinbot machine, and I want to get into making my own costumes for cosplaying.

I live on Vancouver Island (Unceded Traditional Territories of the Kwakwaka’wakw, Nuu-chah-nulth, and Coast Salish peoples) in B.C. Canada. I have a website where I offer tarot/oracle readings, and another site where I am trying to start a new career as a Virtual Assistant, something I am well suited for. Wish me luck!
